One of the world’s bestselling classical pianists today is this boy aged 26, Lang Lang.
Having been an enfant prodige – his first public performance at the age five – he is the first chinese artist to be engaged by the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic and the top American orchestras and last summer over 5 billion people viewed him at work at Beijing’s Opening Ceremony of the Olympics.
What you can expect from his concerts is a rare passionate stage performance and a spectacle you will always remember because as from his words “Every concert is like looking at great footballers. They are so passionate about what they’re doing, and this is what we need in the music world, too”.
Being also a Unicef Goodwill Ambassador he demonstrates his interest for children through a serious commitment aimed to develop personally educational projects through various venues with master classes, chamber concerts, school visits with students of all levels.
We will have the pleasure to see his concerts this 2009 in some european cities such as Milan, Paris, Berlin, Hamburg, Wien, Madrid.
